Bernie Moreno is the Senior Republican Senator from Ohio having defeated 3 term incumbent Democratic Senator, Sherrod Brown in 2024. Senator Moreno has close ties to the Trump administration and received endorsements from both President Trump and J.D. Vance. 

Senator Moreno graduated from Pinecrest Academy in Florida, 1985. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Michigan in 1989; and graduated from the NADA Dealer Candidate Academy in 1996. Upon graduating from college, Bernie worked for General Motors and at the age of 26, he moved to Massachusetts to become the general manager for the Herb Chambers Companies. In 2005, he relocated to Ohio and acquired a Mercedes-Benz dealership. By 2016, he owned more than a dozen dealerships known as the Collection Auto Group, mostly located in Ohio. In 2019, he began to sell a number of his dealerships to focus on his new blockchain-based technology company.
